Julie Swartzlander is a partner with Sol Marketing Concepts, with more than 15 years of experience in marketing, advertising and public relations. She has built a successful reputation working with businesses ranging from start-up to Fortune 500 companies including Austin Ventures, Balfour, Choice Media, EyeWonder, Freshwater Software, i2 Technologies, RenewData Corporation, and San Angelo Convention and Visitors Bureau. Additionally, Julie has extensive experience representing issues based organizations such as The American Heart Association, American Medical ID, Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Corpus Christi Literacy Council.
Prior to joining Sol, she led account teams at two of the largest high tech public relations firms in the world - Waggener Edstrom and Citigate Cunningham. She provided client counsel on strategic communication strategies and developed integrated marketing communication plans. As a result of her media and analyst relations activities, her clients were featured in such trade publications as Industry Standard, InformationWeek, and IndustryWeek as well as business publications including Upside, Business 2.0 and BusinessWeek.
Julie also has extensive experience in the financial services sector on the client side, managing marketing, advertising and strategic communications, including brand development and market positioning for a wide variety of financial products and services.
